Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear

In quiet rooms, where silence falls,
A gentle peace unfolds,
For love, though hidden, softly calls,
In memories we hold.

A teddy bear, with satin bow,
Now rests upon the chair,
A gift of comfort, meant to show,
That love still lingers there.

Its button eyes, so soft and bright,
Reflect the light we knew,
Of all the joy, of every night,
Our child once brought us through.

And though their hands no longer grasp
The bear’s familiar thread,
We feel their presence in our clasp,
Of every tear we shed.

For love transcends the bounds of time,
It lives in what we share—
A hug, a smile, a whispered rhyme,
The heart’s unspoken prayer.

That teddy bear, a token small,
Still holds their warmth, their grace,
A symbol that through it all,
They fill an endless space.

So though the loss may shape our days,
In love, we rise above—
For in our hearts, in tender ways,
They live, they laugh, they love.
